Okay, I just realized recently that my hubby and I are the only couple in the world that don't use words like "Honey", "Darling", "Sweatheart" when talking to each other. I think it may stem back to my pre-Mike dating and the incredibly "cheesy" guys I dated (hence our non "cheesy" marriage proposal). Anyways, as I get older, I am starting to think a little cheese isn't a bad thing. So now what should I call Mike...
shnookey poo.
ReplyDeletewe don't really call each other those things either. it's not a bad thing. i like to be called by my name.
We do not call each other names either. No need for the cheese!
ReplyDeleteI guess names like that just have to evolve on their own :) When Jason and I first got married, I all of a sudden started calling him "honey," even though I'd never called anyone that before--or thought I would. Now I usually just call him "hubby," though :)
ReplyDeleteScott usually calls me "Sugar Booger". Nice, huh? If Scott calls me Mykalee instead of Mykee, I know he is mad.
ReplyDeleteI think a little cheese is nice. If you can do it with a straight face!
We don't do names very often. Dustin does call me Madelyn, though, which I like since no one else really calls me that.
