Memories

(Me back in the day...ahh memories)

Here are the directions: 1. As you comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I am go glad you decided to do this post!
Where to start. I've actually been thinking a lot about "the good ole days" with my blast from the past recently.
Anyway, do you remember studying for zoology? With different accents? and then laughing so hard we were crying??
Remember Halloween with the "prisoners"?(and the "party" after)
Getting erasers thrown at us by Zoology prof. (can't remember his name)
Barefoot Hottie
Robbie
All our nicknames for people- remember when I almost called "the dentist", the dentist?
Eating Barbie's salt and vinegar potato chips
"driving by" Elder whats his name's house
THE DEAN- so scared
And many many more- I loved over analyzing everything with you and our long talks in the potato fields.
When you came to AZ and I got to meet Mike and you met Scott.
Come to Idaho so our kids can play and we can make more memories!

I remember right after you had your first little girl. You were maybe two days out of the hospital and I look out my window to see you BOUNDING up the stairs-- two steps at a time!! YOU JUST HAD A BABY!

Only you would have that much energy!

I remember when you guys invited us over for New Year's Eve and we played games and snacked all night. It was so fun! Also, I remember just loving watching Kya suck her lip in and make her pucker face. So cute!

This is a tough one for me since I've known you since you were born--it's hard to choose what to write about! :)

I remember when you were getting married, and I would come down to Utah to help you buy all the stuff for your wedding. I can still picture you trying on wedding dresses at that store where you ended up buying yours! I also remember sitting on a bench with you at University Mall just after you'd bought your wedding shoes . . . I remember thinking, "I'm too young to have a daughter who's getting married," then I realized I WAS too young . . . and that I DIDN'T have a daughter who was getting married--just a sister! :)

I also remember when you were a baby--one time I heard you crying in your crib and was trying to get you out, and then Mom came in and was a little upset with me (I guess so--I was only 5!). I think that's my earliest memory of you!

There are so many laugh attacks I don't know where to start. But the most memorable one was in English when we were laughing so hard Mr. Wansborough made you leave the room so we would be apart from each other!! And we still couldn't stop. I think we were laughing about sneaking into class late wearing a green shirt and white pants to be camoflauge with the wall and chalkboard. haha!! I also love when we dressed up as skids for Halloween, or when we taped-recorded your lenghy phonecall to R.R. with the fake name and story we'd cooked up in Writing class! That was gutsy, I still can't believe we went through with that!

Now my favourite memories are when you're visiting Abbotsford and you come over to hang out after all the kids are in bed and we talk and talk. I can tell you anything without feeling judged or embarassed. I'm going to miss that when I move. We are going to have to have you all come sleepover instead!!
