Oh Mister Sun
Well the sun is gone. I knew it was too good to be true. We had an absolutely beautiful sunny weekend and today while I was at playgroup, it felt like winter (well, Monterey winter). We did enjoy the beach while the sun was here. I managed to bring my camera on ONE of our beach adventures. We went to see the sea lions in Monterey and then let the kids play in the sand for a while. It was 5pm and warm and sunny--VERY unusual for these parts. We even got to see dolphins jumping (Jordan's favorite animal) which was very exciting!!

Oh, how I miss the sun! We ended up staying at the park until almost 1:30 today! I got so cold that I still haven't taken my jacket off.

I didn't realize how much I loved the sun until it left. Hopefully we haven't seen the end of our one week of summer. :o)
I didn't know you guys lived in Monterey! I knew you lived in CA, but I didn't know where. I love Monterey! I lived there when I was 8. I went to Robert Down Elementary and had Otter Pop Fridays.
it is so neat over on the peir. The sea lions are up and personal. the kids love it. So georgeous!
It looks like you had fun...wish we were there, but we have our summer back it is really nice here again. Warm, but not too warm like it was when you were here!!
Benjamin really wants to go and see the sea lions, too :)
