At least I didn't miss EVERYTHING!!

Okay so being in charge of the ward activities definately has its drawbacks--like enjoying Halloween!!! Mike had to get the kids in their costumes, help them with the games at the party, take them trunk or treating, and then take them home and trick or treating. I hate missing out on all that fun--BUT someone has to do it right?! I do like planning the activities though. So here are some pictures of the fun we had:

Ballerina, Dinosaur, Hannah Montana
Kya in the parade of costumes--cutest tutu ever (thanks Sarah!)
Tyson and Brady
(Tyson took his costume off 2 minutes after getting to the party and then I finally coaxed him back into it about halfway through the activity)
Tyson and Kya trunk or treating
Jordan with her candy
(it was crazy hair day at school)
Psycho candy girl
I didn't get home until after she had taken her costume off (sniff, sniff)
Tyson couldn't take his eyes off that candy

Sorry you missed out on so much! I missed out on quite a bit too, so I completely understand! Your kids look adorable in their costumes!

I can't believe it is warm enough there for Kya to be a ballerina, without all the added gear (like coat, tights, scarf, hat and of course unbrella!). They all looked great and it seems like they had fun too.

Their costumes were so cute especially kys's :) It's so hard being in charge of such big activities while missing all the fun. But you did plan a great activity. I thought it was so much fun. All that matters is that all the kids had fun and I'd say that was a definte. Thanks for your hard work...

What a bummer when you don't really get to enjoy the party. The kids look great!

We thought the tutu was going to by TYSON's costume :) It sounds like your ward party went well--it's too bad you had to miss so much, but I guess in the church we all take our turn! I'm sure everyone was glad you were willing to do so much to help them and their families enjoy the night.

I'm sorry you missed the fun too but I was so happy to hear you mentioned by name in sacrament for all of your efforts. You made a wonderful halloween for tons of families so thank you.
