The Tortoise and The Hare

I had parent/teacher conferences for both the girls yesterday. They both got glowing reviews from their teachers and had excellent report cards. I was amused to hear both their teachers emphasize one DIFFERENCE that the two girls have:

Jordan
Races through her work often missing details. Because she rushes, her work is often messy and even illegible.

Kya
Very maticulous. Works slowly, being very careful not to miss a single detail. Takes her time on her work which often results in not quite finishing it all.
If you had asked me a year ago, I would have predicted opposite results. But now, it is SO true. Kya is always the last one done her dinner, she is completely content sitting on the couch relaxing all day. Jordan on the other hand is always racing through one thing to get to the other. She is also very competitive and could never be too busy. Can you guess which one is more like Mike and which one is more like me??

I don't care how they do in school because those pictures of them are so so cute!!! Ellie is a rusher too!

That's so funny! Now that you mention it, I've seen that difference in their personalities, but I wouldn't have predicted how it would affect their schoolwork :) We have our first parent/teacher conference on Friday, so that will be interesting!

I'm guessing that Kya would be like Mike and Jordan is like you, am I right? Who is Tyson like? The pictures are very cute, the girls are changing so much! Jordan's hair looks very good like that!

I always had a hard time believing that two kids from the same parents could be sooo different until my own came along. Did I really think I was that much like my brothers?

Love the ringlets on Jordan (I'm only slightly jealous of her hair...)

Mom--Mike claims to be like Jordan when he was in school! He said his teachers were always complaining about his penmenship and he always had to be the first one done.
