Up Late for NOTHING

I had this great idea to make a DVD slideshow for Jordan's baptism. Sounds like a good idea right? Well, here's what happened:

I thought of this brilliant idea at around 10pm.

I couldn't remember what website I had seen a cheap way to do it.

Around 10:30pm I finally found the Costco site that I remembered.

I spent a good hour picking pictures and putting them in the slide show.

I went to add music and I realized I had to choose from a list of songs (I couldn't upload my own), so after searching through MANY songs like "Zipadeedooda" I found one that would work.

I watched the preview and it was completely LAME.

So NOW I am on a mission to find a way to make this DVD slide show.

Wish me luck!

Please if anyone knows any good software or websites to do this, let me know (I need a DVD that I can play on the tv not just something I can watch on the computer).

Here's a cute pic of baby Jordan I found when I was looking through pictures for the slide show (3 or 4 moths old)

Do you have a laptop? Or does someone in your ward? You could hook the laptop up to the tv at the church (I'm assuming this is what you are doing) and watch it on the tv through the computer. Would that be easier?

That was me, by the way, not Adam.

By the way- we get to drive to Virginia this weekend to see Mark and Holly Patton- do you remember them? If you lived closer, we could come see you too!

I have no idea about the websites or how to make the DVD, but that is a cute picture of Jordan! I remember when that was taken!

Hey, A for effort--I say. It does sound like a great idea. I will ask Brett about the slideshow. He knows about a few different programs ;D Good luck

You can do it through movie maker on your computer...that is if you are running a program like Mircrosoft XP or newer. You will also need a DVD burner on your computer and program to burn. When is the baptism...if you email me the pictures I could make it for you and burn it. You could even tell me what music you wanted. I'll do it for free as a gift for Jordan, whom I have seen since she was a baby and I can't believe she is eight!
