We Made It!

We now have a Kindergarten Graduate

I just about cried when Kya's principal got up and talked about how grown up our little Kindergarteners are now. We got to watch a slide show of the past school year and watch Kya's class sing "What a Wonderful World"--so sweet (although I taped it on my video camera and how no idea how to transfer the file onto the computer). I am so proud of Kya--she has worked so hard and done so well in school this past year!

And we can't forget our little 2nd Grade Graduate

Aparently passing 2nd grade is not as big of a deal as Kindergarten because there were no festivities for us parents to attend--they just had a "kids only" class party. But we are still proud of Jordan and all the hard work she has done in school this year.

Let the SUMMER begin!!

Congratulation, Jordan and Kya! I can't believe how tall and grown up you are both looking. You probably deserve a great summer for all your hard work. See you all soon :o)

I cry at the end of the school year every year!! I don't know why. I always end up shaking the teacher's hand and then darting away because I'm all choked up and I can't talk. It's very embarrassing! But a very proud moment indeed ;D

The end of school is such an exciting time! I think the preschool/kindergarten administrators make the year-end programs tear-jerkers on purpose--it's so easy to make moms cry, especially by reminding them that their kids are growing up :)
