January Smanuary

I have been a little gloomy this month. Mike informs me that I am always a bit "blue" after all the Christmas excitement is over...which is probably true, but I don't like it. The kids are back at school, I am finally over my sinus infection and life is just moving forward without too much excitement. It's been raining buckets (which makes me homesick), I'm trying to accept the fact that we are done having kids, and I can't quite seem to get rid of those few pounds I gained over Christmas. So, I am ready for the sun to come out, my family and friends to visit, and January to be over!

January is my least favorite month! (sorry to all those with Jan. B-days). February is a close second. The only thing Feb. has going for it is a holiday with an excuse to each chocolate and the fact that it is shorter:) It will soon be over and we will get our fabulous weather back. I guess we have to pay for our first half of January being a gorgeous 80 degrees allowing beach trips and park going! (This is all being said as I listen to it pour:)

Someone told me that everyone has two "bad months" in the year, and I've always thought mine were January and February, too :) But at least you have the rest of the year to look forward to--and January IS almost over!

How refreshing to know you can get the January blahs in a place like LA! I thought it was just for people in awful snowy places. :) Hang in there, I'll be there to make it all better in just 6 short months. hahaha

We could use a little of that precipitation, only here they would like it in snow for the olympics, you know!! Our mountains are pretty well bare, it will be interesting to see the games go one with no snow. Hope you are feeling cheered up soon :)

I agree. January is especially bad when you move to the other side of the country and you're suddenly a California girl trying to shovel snow. Don't worry, February is almost here.
