When in comes to kids clothes, I'm cheap! They are either going to grow out of it or stain it within a couple months, so why spend a lot of money on it?! Anyways, I am trying a different approach when it comes to shoes...we'll see how it turns out.
Since Tyson started Kindergarten in September, he has been through about 5 pairs of sneakers. This last pair I bought from Target and they lasted about 1 month. I finally decided to spend a little more money and get him something that hopefully won't fall apart before he outgrows them.
Here are his new digs:) He specifically asked for Nikes!

We also picked up these cute church sandals for Kya to wear after she gets baptized. Aren't they the cutest ever?!

I agree with the shoe thing, it seems like the cheap ones are not worth it!! I bought Kenyon a not so cheap pair and make him wear only those! I love Tysons shoes, where did you get them? They are way cute! We miss you guys, we are going to have to somehow come and see you guys this summer. We don't have anything planned, so maybe a trip down there could be something to do, the kids would love it!! What are your plans for the summer?
Kim, I got the shoes at Nordstrom Rack (discount) Store. We would love to see you guys this summer. I am having surgery on my hip June 2nd, then we are spending August in Canada...but other than that, we'll be around. I have been thinking I need to get up to Monterey too!! It's been so long!
I didn't realize Tyson had been through FIVE pairs of shoes this year . . . no wonder you are trying something different! :) His Nikes are so cute, and I love Kya's sandles, too.
I'm a little late commenting on the shoes, but they are sure nice! I hope Tyson's last more that a month, though. I think Kya's are very cute.
