A Christmas Eve Tradition

We love to bundle up and take the kids ice skating on Christmas Eve. It reminds me that some places in the world, people actually do need to wear jackets this time of year (seriously, it was 87 degrees in the car when we came out of the skating rink). This year Mike and I could actually skate without holding onto the kids. They were so brave!! Tyson has also informed me that he wants to take skating lessons and become a hockey player....we'll see.

What a nice skating rink, I don't think they have any that nice here! Then again it has been a long time since I have seen the inside of a rink. Looks like you had fun :0)

That place is gorgeous! We were just talking about skating here, and wishing we had a rink or a good pond. Glad you Cali people get to enjoy a little bit of Canada!

It must be hard to feel like it's really Christmas when it's 87 degrees outside (especially after living in Canada, Utah, etc.). Ice skating is such a great Christmas Eve tradition! You look like a teenager in these pictures, Anita!
