First we stopped at Subway to pick up sandwiches for a picnic.
Then, we parked right next to this great tree that had hundreds of peoples initials/names carved all over it.
We decided to add our name to the mix
Next, we had to get in line to take pictures at the "Beverly Hills" sign!!
Then we headed down the street and saw the flower garden...
...and the cactus garden....
...and the fountain...
...which is the same fountain from one of my favorite movies (Clueless).
And of course we couldn't leave without a little excitement:) Tyson dropped his flip flop in the fountain and I had to use my pocket knife to cut a palm branch down to fetch it!!

That was fast!! When I talked to you, this blog was only a thought! It looks like you have done some fun things, it's good that the weather has co-operated :0) No matter where you live, there are always things that you haven't seen. Even here, where we have lived for 25+ years.
Awww. Looks like soo much fun. I'd be one of your kids for the day :)
Hope they all had a blast xox
I didn't know you carried a pocket knife--you really are prepared for everything!!
That looks like such a fun day--maybe we should come back and see some more of the sights! :)
Yeah Lisa, I keep a pocket knife in my purse but not bandaids. Did I mention Kya and Tyson both cut their fingers while trying to carve on the tree?!
