So, Mike bought me a purse for Christmas which wasn't quite my style (he thought it was the one I had described to him--which is why he bought it). Since I returned it (I know, I'm rude), I had been searching for the perfect purse, but didn't quite find it. I finally bought one I liked from Target and I was pretty happy with it---until I fell in love with the one at Claire's. It was just sitting there, right in the doorway, all by itself, like it was waiting for me. Now I have thought about going back many times to get it. Last night I mentioned it to Mike (mistake) and he said "we have no money" (which is really his answer whether we have money or not). So now I would feel extra bad going back to get it. Hmmm....what to do, what to do???

uh go get it...but you didn't hear it from me.
I say- it's only $22! It's not like you are asking for a coach purse or something. Just don't eat or drive for a few days and use that food money on the purse. Or just buy it and say it's your late Pioneer Day present.
I know that your Dad has no idea on how to go to your blog, so I can say what I did! One day he made me very mad, so I went out and bought the purse I wanted, only it cost $54 not $22. I don't really recommend that course of action though!
I'll buy it for you and you can tell Mike you owed me money. Although, then where will the mystery purse have come from? Hmmm, I'll keep thinkin'.
I think you should buy it before these obsessive thoughts consume you!! I also think it's so rare to ever find the perfect ANYTHING, so if you do you should get it before the opportunity is gone--the purse might already be gone . . . you should go check! :)
Ummm... of course he says there is no money for purses!!!!!! A perfect purse is not high on a hubby's priority list. :)
My bad advise is to get the purse, endure the wrath of Mike for the day or however long it takes for him to be mad about it...then enjoy your beautiful purse for the rest of your days!!!
