I Remember when...
...I could get a good night sleep--every night.
...I didn't have to stress about what to cook for dinner (and lunch and breakfast).
...grocery shopping was actually fun.
...I would get praised when I did a good job on something.
...I didn' t have to worry about trying to lose weight.
...I didn't have to stress about owning our own company.
...I didn't have to deal with rude customer service people.
...the house would be clean and I didn't have to spend all day cleaning it.
...I didn't have kids yelling at me all day.
...I could go out without feeling guilty.
...I didn't have to worry about paying the bills on time.
...I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain weight.
...I didn't worry constantly.
...I could see my sisters and parents every day.
...I felt good at what I did.
...I didn't have to deal with clogged drains and broken toilets.
Don't get me wrong; I love my kids, husband and my life right now BUT sometimes I need to escape by thinking back to simpler times.

Yes, I often refer to my pre-children days as "the good 'ol days." I totally know how you feel!
I remember when you were so carefree that all you took with you when you left your apartment was your lipsmacker :)
Life B.C. was great, wasn't it?? I think now, though, after few weeks, we would be SO BORED!!!
Well Anita, I think you are doing a very good job of many things! I guess when we get older the praise doesn't come as quickly!! Even thought it is hard some times and you think nobody cares, they do so keep up the good work!!!
