Now I Remember

I started watching "The Bachelor" during it's first season. Not something I am extremely proud of, but I really did enjoy it. I even bought into "The Bachelorette" phenomenon. That's right, I was sitting on my couch glued to the TV to watch Trista and Ryan's wedding (along with a large portion of the American public, I might add). I swooned over Andrew Firestone--he was my favorite. And then, I VOWED I would never watch the show again after watching the bachelorette JEN refuse to pick either of the two men left at the end (Jerry was SO great BTW).

Well, I was at "card club" with some girls from my new ward, and guess what became the topic of conversation...The Bachelor. So, I thought..."why not give it another chance?" When Monday night came, I watched and once again...I quickly fell in love with the show--it is seriously so captivating.

Last night was the big "Final Rose" show. Jason (the bachelor) picked Melissa--the girl who I wanted him to (she was so awesome). I was so excited...envisioning their outrageous televised wedding like Trista and Ryan (I know, I'm pathetic, right?). Anyways, they do an "after the rose" show 6 weeks later and Jason breaks off the engagement and wants to pick the other girl instead. Blasphemous!! I swear, why did he have to do it on television?! Just let us think everything is fine and break up the next day--NOT ON TV! Seriously--sick.

You don't need to ask...I am NOT watching next season. I'll stick to Lost and American Idol.

I'm ashamed to say that I watched this season, too. I even stayed up until 1:30 to watch Jimmy Kimmel interview him. According to Jason, they had already broken up before the final rose show and he had to do it on TV because it was part of his contract to do everything publicly. I know I shouldn't care, but I am so annoyed! He is seriously such a huge jerk. And I can't believe Molly is actually going to date him now. Molly, HE'S SUCH A LOSER!

I've never seen an episode, so I'm glad to know I haven't missed anything :)

Ok Anita...I am a huge fan of the show. I seriuosly enjoy laying on the couch and watching all the girls think he's so into them and not get a rose. Stupid I know, but I look forward to it but this season, It was different. I felt so bad when he was dumped by Deanna last season because I thought she should have picked him. So, this season I watched and loved that girl Melissa. Molly so bothers me. I was ecxited for them and then to watch him break up with her. All day Tuesday I was so mad like this was real life with me and I was invloved some how...I know pathetic...but to see that they are actually together and loving life. I feel so bad for Melissa. She's probably at home crying her eyes out. So sad. I should probably take time to look back and evaluate this...What's more pathetic me so upset by this or actually what happened on the show? I need a life. I guess I should just stick with Y&R :)

I love that you watch LOST! That is one of our favorite shows. As far as I am concerned, Wed. is the best night on tv:) However, now I am hooked to dancing with the stars just to watch melissa;)
