Baby teeth...still holding strong

My little Kya has told me on numerous occasions that she "does not want to grow up"--which is FINE by me. But, nearing the end of Kindergarten with all her baby teeth is really starting to upset her. Everyone in her class has lost at least one tooth and Kya doesn't even have a single wiggly one. So last night she called me into her room to ask me how to spell a few words. This is what she wanted to write:Luckily the Tooth Fairy was nice enough to leave her a reassuring note and a quarter to tie her over until she loses her first tooth...which the dentist said might be a while (but don't tell Kya).

Cute girl.
Tell her Jack didn't lose one until 2nd grade! Rebekah hasn't got any even close yet either. Losing a tooth, especially at school is so much fun.

Carson is in the same boat. We went to the dentist yesterday and he said no too.

Thanks goodness. That just means that the adult teeth have less time exposed to get damaged and cavities:) I wish I still had my baby teeth:) jk He note was adorable.

Kya's note was so sweet! I'm glad the tooth fairy could come and reassure her :) Were her baby teeth late to come in? I've heard that the earlier they come in the earlier they fall out--but I have no first-hand experience with this yet! Hopefully Kya won't have to wait too long!

That is a cute picture of Kya. I think her teeth are just hanging in there for a larger payout!! I already left a comment, but I don't see it here, I wonder what happened?
