Fall Favorites

It's always a little sad for me when summer comes to an end.  

Thank goodness for fall festivities to keep my spirits lifted!  

The Pumpkin Patch is one of my very favorites:)  We lucked out with a beautiful sunny day and Dad even got to join us!  We were just missing our Kya (and Summer's fingers got closed in the van door when we were getting ready to head home--poor baby).

The apple cinnamon donuts at Bob's corn are so good!

We had a Young Women's Halloween party, so I broke out 80s gear:)

The girls all dressed up, which made me so happy.  

We also got to do our ward Trunk or Treat this year!  Summer was a bat, Tyson was a hockey player and Mike and I went as Mickey and Minnie Mouse (unfortunately no pictures of anyone but Summer)

Our YW class was in charge of the "candy walk"

Nobody was into carving pumpkins this year (except me and Summer), which is the opposite of last year!  But we forced Tyson to join the fun.  They turned out great anyways.

We got to do real trick or treating this year...and Summer was super brave!  Jordan and Tyson came with us (Mike was on crutches due to a basketball injury, so he opted to stay home) and there were lots of kids in the neighborhood.  It felt like old times.

And not much can compare to the beauty of fall in the Pacific Northwest.
